My name is Benjamin Robert Simmons, and I am an ASP.NET developer currently working part-time during the school semester at the Center for Human Services Research (CHSR) in Albany, New York. I also work there full-time during the summer break.
During the school semester, I take online classes from Liberty University Online that contribute to my goal of earning a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology with a focus in web and mobile programming. When I am not working at my job or working on school, my hobbies include:
- Reading books and listening to audiobooks
- Playing board games
- Playing electric guitar
- Performing in dramas and skits
Perhaps the most important piece of personal information about me is that I am a devoted Christian. I read the Bible every day and firmly believe in a literal interpretation of its contents. I do not belong to any denomination, but if I had to choose the one that I believe is the most representative of my beliefs I would likely pick the Baptists.
If you want to learn more about becoming a Christian, I suggest that you read this article and then read the Bible. There are many other resources out there that will contain answers to questions you may have, but the best resource is the Bible for the simple fact that it is God's word. If you do decide to read the Bible, I recommend reading the English Standard Version or New Internation Version because they are easier to read and understand.
